Nope, nothing dirty here, just a few things to consider when brewing a solid barleywine. But be sure you do it with the windows closed anyway.
It’s going to be sticky, messy, and tiring, you might even get a splinter or two, but after a few months, it will be worth it.
But take your time with this elixir, sip by delicious sip. If you gulp it down recklessly, you might fall into our Melting Pot.

0.5 l can thanks to Marko, shared with him. Deep copper, small off-white head. Aroma is malty, caramel, spicy, fruity, hints of molasses, sparkling touch of alcohol on the nose, red fruit coming up nicely. A vague sugary candy touch. Sticky, sweet, sugary, soft rum touch, oak not detectable. Strong, sharpness in the finish. A bit sweet, although nicely balanced.

Can from... well who knows. let's say Goblet. Shared ages after with Hrabren. Hazy red-amber body, off-white head. Pleasant, soft lightly sweetish aroma rum perhaps, but quality, caramel, red fruit and dried red fruity, slightly perfumey and alcoholic. Lean soft light taste, rum, coconut, ending a bit weirdly alcoholic, some burn. Tropical almost in a way, weirdly papery. Sweet caramelly notes. This is weird, something plasticey slightly but not really. Dunno. The finish kinda pushes it out of a very highly score.

Can, 0.5l. Deep murky red/brown pour, half finger frothy off-white head, medium retention. Sticky lacing on the glass. Nice on the nose, sweet and malty, caramel, toffee, sugar. Mild fruity sour notes. Lingering rum in the background. Medium to full body, soft carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, thick and chewy, syrupy. Very nice. Sweet taste balanced with mild sour fruitiness. Aroma of toasted caramel, molasses, toffee. Sugar, candy. Ripe fruits, hints of cocoa in the background. Oak. Liquory, strong rum notes, nicely warming. Lingering alcohol burn, dry. Long lasting finish. Tasty.

Canned 500ml. -from Goblet Zagreb. Brownish coloured, medium sized beige head, rum and light caramel in the nose. Toasted malt, caramel, rum, wood, noticable alcohol and rather warming finish. Not so sweet.
LCI. Honing.
