Bottle sample at a tasting at Tom L’s place. Thanks Shmupi. Clear yellow. Aroma of cardboard, honey, graininess. Sweet flavor with honey, cardboard, graininess, and a faint bitterish note. Light-bodied.

Look: Clear yellow, white frothy head.
Aroma: malty and a bit of corn, light grassy hops.
Taste: sweet malty, a bit of grassy hops, grainy/husky, lots of carbonation, sweet malty finish with minimum hops. Hey, where’s the hops?

Pours a very pale yellow color, topped with rather avergae white head. The retention is bad. There is a malty aroma and that’s all that can be picked up. The taste is sweet and malty. No real bitterness. Nothing special about it. Rather bland.

The beer starts malty, a bit alcoholic. Sweet and a bit undefined in the mainpart, a bit metallic-flat. The aftertaste is medium, not too bitter, slightly sweet and slightly metallic and ends abrupt.
From the Memminger Brauerei I would have expected something better! --> 7/10/6/7

Bottle during the High Speed Tasting on the train to the Black Country Bus Tour. Thanks to Sister Nellie for bringing me this Romanian whale from her travels. Pours perfectly clear yellow with a light, white cream head. Sugary cereal and pale malts in the aroma, some hay, grains. Medium sweet flavor with simple cereal grains, faint straw, dough. Light bodied with fine, creamy carbonation. Sugary cereal malt finish with faint straw bitterness and dough. Decent.
