Cask at the Henley Brew House, Henley. A attractive reddish copper colour with a loose cream head - a perfect looking traditional bitter; fruity aroma with a touch of orange; rich taste of orange marmalade and malt; and a clean caramel finish. A well made bitter.

Had this at St Aldates Tavern, Oxford, Saturday 12th October 2013 Pours amber with a reddy hue, off white head atop. Perfectly decent very traditional pint from XT I guess the style and flavours are entirely appropriate, but it does seem quite interesting drinking an XT beer which dare I say it is so very safe. However I though it was pleasant enough and enjoyable, a little caramel, easy going bitterness. fine. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3
