This Red Ale has beautiful citrus and pine notes that come from generous addition of Centennial, Citra & Simcoe hops. It is smooth and velvety in the mouth with the toasted malts giving it a medium body with hints of roasted hazelnut, toffee and caramel malt flavours.

330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Sentrum, Tromsø. Next to clear copper coloured body under a diminishing beige head. Spotty lacing. Herbal hops on the nose, hints of earthy malts. Mixed taste profile of brown malts and ripe fruits. Malt-fruity bitterness to the ending. Rounded mouth feel. Pretty alright.

Bottle from Naiv. Pours almost clear, dark amber, with an average sized short lasting off-white head. Aroma of citrus, malt, caramel, pine and nut. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, slight oily and watery texture, soft carbonation. Decent overall, but aroma is the definite high point.

Bottle at home. Pours a slightly hazy deep mahogany colour with a light beige head. Aroma of pine, grapefruit, orange peel, oat biscuit, weed and some toffee. Flavour of pine, fudge, leather, grapefruit and some grass. Hint of chocolate. Has a slick and soft mouth feel, medium body and a medium bitterness. A tasteful and well-balanced amber ale.

On tap @ Holy Craft, Düsseldorf. Malty red, fruity. Nice fresh red malt, orange in the hops. Really fruity with lots of red malt, also in the aftertaste. Great fresh fruity brew.
