This Red Ale has beautiful citrus and pine notes that come from generous addition of Centennial, Citra & Simcoe hops. It is smooth and velvety in the mouth with the toasted malts giving it a medium body with hints of roasted hazelnut, toffee and caramel malt flavours.

On tap @ Holy Craft, Düsseldorf. Malty red, fruity. Nice fresh red malt, orange in the hops. Really fruity with lots of red malt, also in the aftertaste. Great fresh fruity brew.

KØLF 020617. Red amber color with a beige head. Aroma is hop, caramel, malt. Flavor is hop, caramel, malt, toasted, toffee. Classical Red ale.

Fra boks på Mi2 Cardinal (sesongåpning aug-17): lett uklar mørk kobber med ok skum. Deilig aroma og enda bedre smak med karamellkjeks, hasselnøtter, røde bær. Flott balanse og laang ettersmak. Myk og veldig go’e! Den skled sorgløst over ganen, idet vi nærmet oss slutten på en flott kveld med mange gode øl.

Shared bottle at Mi2 at Cardinal 21.08.17. Translucent pale brown. Beige head and lacing. Fine aroma of medium dark malt, syrup, fresh fruits and chocolate. Similar taste. Excellent drinkability. Perfectly well-balanced.

Frisch hopfig-würziger Antrunk mit klarer und runder Herbe. Wenig süße Karamellnoten, einen Ticken bitter, grasig. Nussig, die Grasnoten gehen zurück, insgesamt trockener werdend. Rund würzig, langer Nachhall. 9/10/11/11/10/10

Bottle: Reddish-amber coloured, a bit hazy, creamy and lacy off-white head, moderate dryish malty-toasty and herbal-piney nose; mlderate - as well - dryish bitter flavour with faint sweet traces, almost medium bodied; lingering herbal and malty finish. Well crafted brew, suitable to watch the autumn leaves...

Bottle at Arne and Ulrike’s. Pours hazy copper with off-white head. Aroma of coffee, caramel, citrus, dark dried fruits. Tastes slightly sweet with more than balancing bitterness. Medium bodied, bitter finish. Good beer, maybe a little too bitter.
