This Red Ale has beautiful citrus and pine notes that come from generous addition of Centennial, Citra & Simcoe hops. It is smooth and velvety in the mouth with the toasted malts giving it a medium body with hints of roasted hazelnut, toffee and caramel malt flavours.

This beer is a tough one because it is a great ipa, but if it is a "red" or "amber" it's completely lost. The same recipe with half the hops would be amazing as a red. This recipe is a really good ipa. Bottle from sobeys.

Bottle sample at a Steamworks tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Slightly hazy amber. Aroma of malt, some caramel, mild toast, and some slightly stale citric hops. Sweetish flavor with malt, a bit of caramel, and bitterish citric hops. Pretty nice.

Schönes Rotbraun im Glas, cremiger Schaum, tolles Flaschendesign. In der Nase Karamellmalz und Zitrus, wow. Im Trunk Zitrus, leicht bitter, im Abgang dann malziger, leichte Süße, geht schön lang weg. Schöne Komposition.
