This Red Ale has beautiful citrus and pine notes that come from generous addition of Centennial, Citra & Simcoe hops. It is smooth and velvety in the mouth with the toasted malts giving it a medium body with hints of roasted hazelnut, toffee and caramel malt flavours.

On tap at Steamworks (Burnaby), pours a hazy dark orange amber with a small beige head. Nose is very pleasant and well-balanced, with notes of caramel malt, dry bready malt and resinous hops. Flavour is very dry and somewhat muted, with dry bready caramel malt and a dry hoppy component that takes away any sweetness. Well-balanced and drinkable. Decent red ale.

Hazy amber color with small head. A dry Amber Ale, with some caramel flavor, simple profile, correctly bitter, at least with some hop resins and a very light fruity touch.
For the easy drinker. A bit boring for me.
