Tap at PSBH, July 2018. Pours opaque dark brown with a beige cap. Aroma: chocolate, overripe tropical & citrus fruits. Taste: light sweet & bitter, tropical and citrus fruits with subtle chocolate notes. Medium body with light carbonation. Love a black 'n' tan but this doesn't work for me, the sum is less than the parts

Bottle. Hazy brown color with eggshell head. Aroma is piney, grassy, chocolate, brown sugar. Taste is brown sugar, chocolate, yeast, grassy hops. Velvety mouthfeel with fine-bubbled carbonation. Quite an intense Black/Brown IPA

40cl pour at Vitamin B in Sofia, pours a muddy amber with some creamy white head. Nose is interesting, not looking at the color you’d swear it was a black IPA, there’s bread crust and malt, pine and blood orange, some nuttiness, a little tomato. Flavor is big with hop at first, big grapefruit and big blood orange, soap and pine too. The malt sort of washes out because the bitterness is so high, maybe a little caramel lurking in the background. Full bodied, bitter finish.

Draught, half pint. Tasted on the 13/07/2018 at "Caminha Artbeerfest 2018", Caminha (Portugal). Dark amber to brown colour with a medium white head. Aroma is roasted malts, burnt caramel, ripe fruits and some sweet toffee. Taste is weird, a combination between an IPA and a Porter...with caramel, sweet malts, toffee but no hops...Interesting but not an easy drink and maybe not well balanced. Next one please!
