McEwan’s IPA can trace its heritage back to the 1860s ale that was made for the 18,000 mile journey to India. After being unpacked it was dispatched inland to provide relief for workers toiling beneath the unforgiving sub-continental sun. It tasted so good it’s a wonder each barrel reached its destination.
Over 150 years later, our expert brewers have been inspired to produce a classic full-bodied, hoppy ale that delivers a citrus fruit aroma and a dry, refreshing finish. It’s a taste that will stand the test of time.

Bottle. Light golden colour, head does not stay long. Nose is faint, mostly of pine. Mouth is pine, grapefruit. Medium bitterness, feels a little harsh. Light body, lively carbonation - for me a bit too high. Nothing special.

Bottle (5,2 %). Clear gold with a nice head. Aroma of citrus fruits and floral hops. Taste is slightly fruity, a tiny bit of biscuit and metallic. Bitter finish. Strong carbonation. Kind of watery. Refreshing. Ok but nothing to write home about.

Oj slabienkie to piwo wyprodukowane w Szkocji jak podaje etykieta/ Mala piana, nietrwala, kolor jaskrawo zolty, prawie jak zoltka jaj ekologicznych. Aromat ulotnej herbaty. W smaku herbaciano cytrynowe. Zbyt delikatne. Ale pijalne i to w lato dla wielu:)
