330 ml. bottle. Bottled on 03/12/2019. Bright citrus golden, hazy but not NE hazy with uneven white bubbles for a head. Nose is old school citrus juicy, lemonade with some sweetness and some citrus / orange pulp as well. Taste is a bit odd with heavy doughy aspirin & juicy sweeter lemon lemonade, almost vague candy & flowery / doughy finish. Softer carbonation & easy drinking, somewhat messy but fair enough to drink decent enough but bit too conflicting, messy with dough, lemonade etc. flavours to be great.

Modern ‘juicy’ APA – so ‘de facto’ a NEIPA as bitterness plays no real part in the juicy / hazy idiom – by one of Holland’s most creative and productive craft breweries, thanks Craftmember for sharing. Wafer-thin, immediately open, interrupted, egg-white ring for a head on a cloudy apricot blonde beer with straw blonde hue. Aroma of lime zest, granadilla, fresh dill, margarine, Thai basil, lychee, pink grapefruit, dough, mango curry, meringue. Very refreshing, crisp onset, hinting at lime, granadilla and starfruit with a very notable herbal dill-like hint, sweetish and sourish with medium carbonation, soft doughy and ‘powdery’ mouthfeel, sweetish white bread pulp soaked in zesty, highly aromatic hoppiness with that lovely fresh dill-like aspect returning alongside pomelo-, starfruit- and granadilla-like impressions, providing a mild peppery end bitterness – as any good NEIPA would. I am therefore still trying to figure out why this has to be an APA instead of a NEIPA, but whatever it is, it is a very refreshing, crisp and zesty Uiltje pale ale in every respect. Lovely.

Can. Clear golden color, full sized white head. Smell and taste are both nicely fruity, fruit hoppy, lightly bitter. Body and carbonation are decent to medium. Alright.
