Limited edition - one time brew!
We hadden nog wat schone hoppen liggen in onze kluis die schreeuwden om iets speciaals. Dus zat er niks anders hop dan voor onze 3de verjaardag een dikke double IPA te brouwen met een keur aan exquise hoppen waaronder Waimea en HBC431. De laatste is nog zo nieuw dat die nog geen naam heeft meegekregen.
Zoals jullie weten doen we altijd iets speciaals met onze Anniversary bieren en deze keer hebben we gekozen om het af te toppen met watermeloen. Niet dat je die gaat proeven in al dat hopgeweld, maar het geeft meer ronding en cachet aan het bier. Enjoy and celebrate with us!

Bottle shared at Kim Jong Un Buurtcentrum Zaandam. Fairly hazy golden orange with a white head. Aroma of watermelon, citrus, herbal notes, caramel malt and tropical fruits. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Fles gekocht bij de Stadsbrouwerij Eindhoven. Het is een troebel geel bier met een medium witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een hoppige en fruitige geur. De smaak is hoppig en fruitig met wat tropische tonen.

Draught @ Stadsbrouwerij Eindhoven. Hazy yellow color, medium sized white head. Aroma was decent at first but halfway through the glass it starts to become more of a sweetish floral malt sap. Flavor is malts, I do get the watermelon but that's probably because I read it is supposed to be in there. Sweetish again but with a slight bitter note. No. Meh. Drinkable but sucks as a DIPA.
