A mixed fermentation saison, fermented with our mother culture of wild yeasts and microbes, conditioned on pinot noir skins from Gutter & Stars Winery in Cambridge, grown in Crouch Valley Essex. Aged further in pinot noir barrels. Bottle conditioned.

19th July 2021; Shrewsbury Beer Share in Chez Sophie, five of us splitting 16 different beers, t'was a good night! Thanks Mike for the 750ml bottle of this: BBE Mar 2024. Red hue to the hazy body, pink head. Fruity, grapey and semi-sour, thought it might be a cheek sucker inner, but it wasn't as tart or sour as I expected.

75cl bottle @ Free-Dumb tasting, Chez Sophie, July 21. Hazy pinkish red appearance. Light winey grapes on the nose, crisp, wild sour character, not coming across like a saison. More wine influence would be nice. Decent gently fruity mixed ferm beer overall.

750ml bottle from HOTM. Bright pinkish colour. Grape tart fruity aroma and taste. Smooth fresh fruity. Grape skin tannic. Dry finish. Very nice winey beer.
