Tap at the Vienna Craft Beer Fest 2017. Clean amber color, medium-low ivory foam with lacing while lowering. Nose: dry fruit and molasses with phenolic notes. Mouth: carbo is a bit high imo, vanilla, sweet caramel.

0,1l from tap at Craft Bier Fest Vienna shared by Saeglopur, big thanks. brown hazy color, small tan head. smells peppery, nutty, marzipan, earthy, liqueurish, wood, ripe fruits. nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes peppery, ripe fruits, raisins, marzipan, nutty, light wood, earthy. finishes lightly dry with notes of pepper, raisins and marzipan. quite nice one, a bit on the heavy side, overall quite enjoyable.

Draught at CBF Wien 2017.
Dark copper, hazy body, with a small, creamy, beige head.
Aroma of bourbon, booze, wood, dried fruits, vanilla, marzipan, some dark fruits.
Tastes amazing, with quite similar aromas, but less boozy, with even more bourbon and dried fruits.
Full, creamy mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes warm, wooden, a bit boozy, with bourbon, sweet fruits, cocoa.

Tasty! The nose is a bit too much dominated by the booze, but the taste is amazing, very rich and complex, with the bourbon very well integrated. Another great barrel aged beer by this brewery, lovely, warming sipper.
