500ml bottle. Opalescent, yellow-ish, golden colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Weak, slightly strawy, minimally grainy, pale malty aroma. Taste is minimally spicy and grainy, pale malty, mildly grassy, minimally bitter hoppy, no residual sweetness; minimally papery, grassy hoppy finish. Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, soft, creamy carbonation. Very clean, simple, good mouthfeel, good brewing water - OK.

Bräu z'Loh Export, Flasche von Ambrosetti. - Goldgelb, blank. (4.2.2022.)

Bottle picked up from the brewery as part of a mixed case, consumed at home Saturday 27th February 2021 after a day spent gardening, listening to Tom Ravenscroft Ravers hour from last night (listen again) about to start cooking Pastitsio *Greek weekend this weekend. Pours clear gold, white head, superb looker. It's a bit downhill after the appearance, taste is so so, little bitter bite, a flinty edge, clean, refreshing but does little for me.

Tap. Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is pale malts, sugary, grainy, earthy, a touch vegetal. Taste is the same. Oily mouthfeel with large-bubbled carbonation. Pretty meh.

0,5 l from Georg, the local hero. Thanks a lot! As expected clear dark golden with a more than one finger thick foamy but only short living white head. Little bit grainy grassy on the nose. Taste ist smooth grainy, some encreasing malt, low bitterness. Typical good bavarian Helles but nothing special in that area.
