Bottle at Alter Kranen at Würzburger city center. Frothy white fair mostly diminishing head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

Hazy amber. Aroma is slight nuts, marrons (or is it called chestnut?), some creamy sweet malt. Taste is sweet caramel with a little starch. Ok drinkablity. Alright.

0.5 bottle. Barely hazy straw gold. Light maltiness, not quite enough hops, but a clean taste. Alright but not really amazing.

Bottle. Cloudy golden, offwhite foam. Honeyish light oxidized malt nose, medium body, chewy, malt forward light minerals, oxidized retronasal.

Bottle. Unclear golden color with white head. Aroma is bready, sugar icing, lightly grassy. Taste is bready, sweet malts, lightly herbal. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Unimpressive, but certainly nothing wrong with it either.

Getreidig herber, süffig hell malziger Beginn. Leicht bitterer Mittelteil mit eher wässrigem Hopfen, minimal säuerlich, süffig. Kurzer Nachhall. Nett. 12/8/9/8/10/8

Schlank-Hals-Flasche:Deep golden to orangey coloured, hazy to cloudy, small but stable loose white foam, sweet malty to toasty- bready nose, mild fruitiness detectable, even milder herbal hops in the background; more sweet than bitter flavour, almost medium bodied, both soft a n d fizzy; slightly lingering sweet toasty finish with a well detectable balancing bitterness in the aftertaste. Unspectacular, but well drinkable...

(bottle) Cloudy, deep golden colour with a short and slightly off-white foamy head. Mildly bready and slightly grainy malty aroma with notes of caramel, subtle apricot accents, as well as hints of hay and herbal hoppy spice in the background. Mildly sweet and delicately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Soft and slightly yeasty cara-malty taste with slightly bready and grainy notes and a subtle fruitiness underneath; sweet and restrained bitter hoppy finish but with delicately herbal-spicy notes. Okay. 29.VII.17
