Can from Bine & Vine. Pours clear, bright copper with a beige head. Light roast malt aroma with some German hop aroma. Rare to get this in a USA beer. Med body. Not dry. Not sticky. Moderately bitter. Roasty malt. Sort of spicy caramel. Saaz hop? Very light spice notes. Nice break from super hopped ales.

Flascherl: A bit unclear, deep golden to light amber coloured, small head, that rather quickly diminishes, mild to moderate nutty-toasty nose , mild - as well - hops underneath; delicate bitter-sweet flavour, hardly medium bodied, but quite smooth; soft nutty finish with some warming alcohol(!) in the aftertaste. At least not bad...

33 cL bottle. Pours a clear, dark, orange color, with a medium, dense, beige head. The aroma is strong rye, caramel, black pepper, orange peel, and pine. Sweet and yeasty, with a sharp bitterness. Medium body, with a creamy and pretty thick palate. Mild, grainy, and mildly hoppy. Nice.

0.33 bottle. Golden brown, light caramel, well balanced hop flavor. A good Oktoberfest beer, is take it over the Munich mass produced stuff. Tasty and recommendable.

Tap. Rather clear golden color with white head. Aroma is nutty, bready, herbal, quite some specialty grain. Taste is nutty, earthy, herbal, bready, special grains, rye and stuff. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Interesting, with lots of character!
