Tap. Clear ruby color with beige head. Aroma is caramel, earthy, a bit berries. Taste is bready, sweet berries, caramel, sugar syrup. Almost chalky dry mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Just ok.

Nice beer. Pretty mellow flavours, nothing to risky or bold. Light tasting with not much heaviness to the malt profile. D&S Dresden

(bottle) Clear, deep amber colour with a beige mid-sized foamy head. Slightly ashy toast-malty aroma with notes of caramel, metal and delicately fruity and herbal-spicy hops. Moderately sweet and delicately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Slightly toasted malty and delicately bready taste with caramel and dark berries retronasal; mildly sweet and slightly berry-fruity finish. Okay. 13.IX.18

“Quartiermeister*in Rotbier“, Flasche (50 cl) von Bio Company, Berlin. - Dunkel goldrotbraun, klar. - In der Nase mildes, angenehmes Toast- und Karamelmalz und ganz leichte fruchtige Herbe. - Antrunk weich toastmalzig mit milden herb-fruchtigen Noten (rote Johannisbeere). Sehr milde, etwas derbe, schwach ranzige oder chlorige Hopfenherbe. Trockener, schwach muffiger Abgang. - Trinkbares aber recht lieblos gehopftes Rotbier.
