bottle from Bierzwerg. Chestnut-golden colour, large off-white head. Full-bodied, robust and rustic malt flavours, hints of caramel and raisins. Resiny-herbal hops are present, rounding it off beautifully. A dak example of the style - very nice, indeed.

(swing top bottle) Clear, amber colour with a medium-sized and slightly tanned foamy head. Sweet and bready caramel-malty aroma with notes of chestnuts, accompanied by herbal, woody and subtle fruity hops. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Cara-malty, bready and slightly nutty taste with herbal and woody hops; bitter-sweet caramelly and moderately herbal hoppy finish. Pleasantly rounded dark Märzen. 12.II.11
