Triple 5 celebrates the divine confluence of 5 unique grains. Barley, white wheat, oats, brown rice and heirloom Midwestern corn each lend attributes that collectively create greatness. A strong 9% ABV originated at 20 degrees Plato. This Belgian style Triple celebrates its golden blonde heritage by retaining that luscious natural hue. Double decoction and experimental organic hops elevate spicy notes balancing fruity caramel tones. The addition of Belgian Candi sugar is the traditional bottle fermentation method. Strength in unity reflected here.

Bottle from Drake: pours golden with white head. Aroma is yeasty, fruity, hints of spice. Taste is sweet, low restrained Belgian bitterness, hints of spice. Solid.

Bottle, courtesy of Drake. Pours gold. Honey, sweet, bubblegum, mango, dessert wine, peach, apricot. Medium body. Good.

Bottle. Pours clear yellow gold, small white head, decent lacing. Aroma is grainy, coriander, Belgian yeast, spices. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter, quite spicy. Merlin body.

12oz bottle. A real solid release from NG. Big alcohol tones, sweet, estery. Finishes smooth. Really true to style, I will have to buy another 4pack of this for sure. A return to form.

Bottle thanks to Drake! Hazy gold with a large off-white head. Nose is orange peel, yeast, bubblegum. Flavor is peach and nectarine skin, yeast, bubblegum, wheat. Very nice.

Been awhile since I saw a new New Glarus beer. Is this my first tripel from them? It’s a great rendition. The 5 grains work delightfully together, and the corn and brown rice add something unique. A beer made with love.

12 ounce bottle, 2/9/21. Slightly hazy copper, thin white head, good retention. Aroma of candi sugar, stone fruit, nuts, hay. Taste is cherry, stone fruits, candi sugar, spice, yeast. Medium bodied, mild booze, bright. Nice.
