Poured from 440mL can (pkg 16.04.21; bb 16.04.22 - I was drunk when I bought this, otherwise wouldn't have bothered being this old). Near opaque golden orange with minimal white head. Unfortunately old, lots of glue (will try to rate in spite of this and adjust rating accordingly). Aroma is very off, but flavour still has lots of tangerine, quite a kick of alcohol, and some tropical notes. The alcohol and oxidation ends up making this a drain pour, but I see there was some potential here so trying to give some credence to that to some extent. I imagine this would have been a 3.5 were it fresh, but a 2.0 as it is (settling at a 3.0 for an adjusted rating, which may have been higher based on ratings of some contemporaries that I respect, but this really should have been pulled from the shelf at Damian Bar).

Can Pours hazy gold. Full bodied. Juicy. Full of ripe tropical fruits. Hoppy line behind. Smooth mouthfeel and very well hidden alcohol. Very nice.

440ml can. Cloudy, orangey, golden colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy, grassy, piney and slightly tropical fruity, hoppy aroma with slight jelly bear character, minimally sugary, pale and crystal malty background, notes of mandarine, pineapple, melon, some mango and passion fruit. Taste is sweet-ish, minimally sugary, pale and caramel malty, minimally dry and papery, fruity hoppy, notes of mandarine, some passion fruit, mango, some alcohol; minimally papery and bitter chalky, slightly warming, alcoholic finish. Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, fine and soft, creamy carbonation. Too many off-flavours in taste, papery, chalky and alcoholic, partially unpleasant bitterness - imperfect.

Small, evanishing whitish head over hazy yellow beer. Ureum, asafoetida, hot olive oil, hot orangepeel, and mineral. Nose from another universum. Fruitesters, especially orange & orangepeel. Wry bitter, bit cheesy hops. Good carbonation, very slick, oily. Medium bodied at least. Not bad!

Can @ Home. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, grass, fruity hops, citrus. Flavor is light sweet, bitter, malt, light caramel, fruit, mandarin, citrus. Medium to full body, average carbonation, light bitter finish.

ABV: 8.5%. Light cloudy medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lastingg, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, moderate to heavy hoppy, tropical fruit, dried fruit, passion fruit, pineapple, mandarine. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, tropical fruit, mandarine, dried fruit, passion fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20210605]

Can @ Højbjerg tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are rich bitter hops, malt, fruits, flowers and has a nice bitter finish.
