Aromas are kind of an odd mix of slightly old resin, green grapes, white wine and malt. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose but much better and lean a bit sweet. Add in some citrus which stands out. Full-bodied with good carbonation. Good beer.

Canned 11/25/25, drunk 1/18/26, as pictured.
My first IPA from SARA and it smells great right from the pour. Earthiness, undertones of light pine and then a mild white grape with no herb. Moderate amounts of honey/white bread-like maltiness to easily balance. Clean with some earth/mineral and an all around rustic feel to it. Certainly not explosively hoppy or intensely aromatic, but it's also almost 2 months old at this point.
Earthy with maybe a hint of allium, or some such herbal-like character. Touch of pine, and a healthy bitterness. Nelson really not the best hop for longevity. Even at just over a month it really starts to go south, changing from its expressive and preferable white grape/white wine to a more bitter herbal character. And here at almost 2 months, it's just about all herbage. Still, you can tell the beer underneath is well-made. Good maltiness and attenuation.

Can. Pours a hazy yellow hue with a medium white head. A funky sourdough citrus nose. Medium bitterness, lemons, light grapefruit, some dankness that grows. Solid.

On tap at SARA, pours an opaque peachy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is tangy and dank, with lots of white wine one tang, pulpy stone fruits, and bready malt. Flavour is somewhat chalky, with tangy citrus hops, lots of earthiness, and biscuity malt. This is a bit too chalky and muddled for me, not really expressing the Nelson optimally. Not a fan.

16oz can at home. Canned 02/09/2021. yellow murky color, small white head. smells of cereal, mango, passion fruit, oats, light grassy, subtle vanilla. nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes citric, grassy, earthy, peppery, spices, herbal, washcloth. finishes light to medium bitter with notes of grass, earth and peppery notes. hmm, decentish, but also not super exciting. finishes trailes away a bit, rather bland finish. probably didnt survive shipping that well, drinkable but expected more.
