Thick, creamy cream-coloured head over orangey amber beer, finely carbonated. Aromatic hops - albeit with very slight oxydation. Leafy, subtle fruity esters, caramel. Again a mild leafy bitterness with non-sweet caramel in the background. Autumn leaves, but also young green herbs as parsley. Medium bodied & quite slick, even oily. Creamy feel from the head. Good carbonation. Aftertaste has a peculiar light sourish tinge. Decent. Txs to Stef!

Bottle 0.5 Plopp drunk in tha Pongau after Chinese crispy duck dinner, which was alright. Quite hazy dark amber with a big head. Nose is definitely citrusy, mandarine skin and seeds. Flavor is a bit grassy, citrus-ish notes dominate with some grain as well. Decent amount of bitterness, not too smooth though. It's alright, and improves after several minutes airing in the glass.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, amber colour with absurdely huge, firm, frothy, moderately lasting, white head. Pale and caramel malty as well as slightly citrusy, hoppy aroma, hints of orange, tangerine, nectarine. Taste is slightly bitter, grassy, citrusy and minimally waxy, hoppy, caramel malty basis with little residual sweetness, hints of nectarine, orange, tangerine. Watery texture, slightly dry palate, lively carbonation. Rather overcarbonated, therefore the full sensory accessibility to the flavours is inhibited - Bummer!

Amber going towards light red. Cloudy. Initial large head quickly disappearing. Light vegetable tones in the nose, caramel, faint passionfruit. Initially fruity and very faintly hoppy in the mouth, over carbonated, falling away steeply. Just enough lingering taste to avoid the label watery, but just about. Drinkable, enjoyable but not very interesting.
