From tap. Pours dark brown to black. Small tan head. Aroma is roasted dark malty. Breadish. Chocolate. Sweet and toffee to roasted malty. Dense malty finish.

1 pint can from MBC, canned Dec/11/2018. Black body, with a small, creamy, beige head. Aroma of coffee, dark chocolate, toffee, soy sauce, molasses. Tastes similar. Medium, quite creamy mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation. Finishes roasty, sweet, a bit dry, woode, with coffee, dark chocolate, molasses, soy sauce, some tobacco. Very nice. More on the sweet side, while also with a good amount of coffee roast. Drinks pretty smooth for the ABV. Not outstanding in my opinion, but still a really enjoyable sipper. Score: 7 / 4 / 7 / 4 / 15

Canned December 11th 2018. black color, small coffee colored head. smells earthy, soy sauce, light coffee, light figs, nice smell. full body, light carbonantion. tastes earthy, bit ashy, coffee, peppery, lactose, light sweetness, doughy. finishes lightly sweet with notes of coffee, dough and light brown sugary notes. quite nice one, rather on the sweet side but overall good to drink.

Kinda tastes like the others, but still awesome ...

Tap at brewpub. Dark brown colour, small beige head. Coffee, toasted malts, cocoa in the nose. Medium-bodied. Sweetish front, coffee, coffee beans, cocoa. Somewhat too simple sweetness-coffee combo.
