Barrel-aged in Bourbon barrels for 13 months prior to being bottled, nine different malt varieties were used to create a complex, smooth and drinkable Imperial Stout. Alongside the darker malts, vanilla and the bourbon nuances, Admiral hops bring an earthiness to the aromas and taste.

Bottle shared by someone at Arrogant Sour 2019, thanks!
Black body, with a small, creamy, beige head.
Aroma of bourbon, dark chocolate, coffee, soy sauce, booze.
Tastes similar, with even more booze.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a low carbonation. Finishes warm, boozy, medium dry, moderate roasty, a bit sweet, with bourbon, cocoa powder, tobacco, soy sauce, coffee.

Nice one. A quite typical BA Imperial Stout, with lots of bourbon and roasty notes. Too boozy though, I prefer it more balanced. Solid overall. Score: 7 / 4 / 7 / 3 / 14
