Bottle at Le Damoiselle. Pours a murky orange brown with small off white head. The aroma is vinegar, wood, funk, earth. Thin body, vinegar, earthy malt, funky, wild.

Nagu suht tavaline Cantillon, aga samas väga huvitava lisa nüansiga. Muidu happelisus on siiski happelisus on veits liig minu maitsele, seega pigem klassis huvitav kui hea.

2008 bottle at La Damoiselle . Murky dark yellow pour with no head. Barnyard and vinegar bouquet. Flat with loads of vinegar. Tart, super acidic, and flat ( without carbonation). There is some grain and sweetness from the malts but it really takes a backseat to the acidic vinegar. Average body and mouthfeel.

0,1l from 0,75l bottle at the Cantillon Tasting at the Arrogant Sour Festival. The Tastig consisted of the following beers: Cantina Giardino (this one), Vin Santo, Blabaer 2018, Balsamic Lambic, Amfora 2013. Unfortunatly for technical reasons I lost my notes from the tasting so here is a sum up from memory. In both smell and taste the balsamic was noticeable, especially once it warmed up the balsamic got very present. Apart from that it had earthy, peppery, some spicy notes. Nice one, interesting to try, but not a favorite. 7, 4, 7, 3, 16

Score: 7 / 4 / 7 / 4 / 15 - - From bottle at Cantillon Forum, Arrogant Sour Festival 2018. 6 years old.
Orange, hazy body, with no head.
Aroma of vinegar, wood, overripe fruits, some apples.
Tastes pretty similar.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a low carbonation.
Finishes dry, acidic, wooden, with pears, green apples.
Very nice, while not outstanding for me. Too vinegary and also not as complex as other Cantillons. Still balanced, not as acidic as expected. Interesting stuff nonetheless.
