On tap at Damián. This is actually quite good for a brewery supposed to be closed last two years. Aroma is pure coffee, in taste not really though. Good anyway.

0,33l bottle at home bought at Pivoteka Nitra, Slovakia. BB area is empty. As Wharfe Bank Fang Imperial Stout "Brewed by people in Yorkshire" 7% ABV. black color, small coffee colored head. smells earthy, rather smoky, bitter chocolate, some ash, caramel, vanilla, stollwerk, very nice smell actually, surprisingly complex. full body, almost no carbonation, rather light mouthfeel. tastes earthy, quite ashy, some licorice, coffee grounds, peppery, rather bitter, also rather roasty. finishes quite roasty / bitter with notes of coffee grounds and ash. only on the very aftertaste some light vanilla and caramel notes creep though. rather quite unbalanced. rather bitter / roasty / dryish with not much to back up the flavors. also someone forgot to add some carbonation. lots of potential was ... wasted.

Cask @ Trades Club, Hebden Bridge. Black with a small off-white creamy head. Understated stout in terms of its taste as its strength subdues this. There’s some roasted malts available, most prominently in its aroma, where the ales light floral sweetness is also most evident.

Tap. Very dark colour, brown head. Rich malty profile with loads of dark malts, roasty, chocolate. Full bodied yet dry, chewy and easily drinkable. Excellent beer.

Opaque black - brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is smooth with mild fine carbonation. Mild dark malts. Very light dark chocolate and a whisper of lactose. Light dry finish. Fine.
