Bottiglia. All'olfatto si esprimono sentori di caffè. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata e la maniera in cui permane è apprezzabile. Il mantello birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma che resiste poco. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana media. Il colore è come l'inchiostro nero. Il corpo è strutturato non pesante. Il dolce è medio in buon equilibrio con l'amaro medio. La forza gustativa è elevata. La continuità gustativa è buona. Il retrogusto è intenso. Sulla lingua si attestano sentori di miele, cioccolato fondente, caffè, frutta secca, erba, agrumi, uvetta bagnata nel rum, mandorla fresca, vinoso, etilico e alcol presente.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Max. Very dark brown to black with a beige head. Somewhat vegetal aroma with coffee, roast. Bittersweetish flavor with malt, coffee, a bit vegetal, roast, and a bitter finish. Medium-bodied.

Almost opaque dark brown beer, tidy pale tan head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. A little dark chocolate in the dark malts, some chocolate cake. A light yeasty fruitiness, pretty mellow. Fairly dry finish. Not bad.

Bottle. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty strong coffee and chili aroma. Roasted malty spicy coffee flavor. Has a roasted malty spicy coffee and chili finish.

0,33l bottle drunk at hotel room and bought at Astral Beers, Bologna. BB 30.11.2017. almost black color, medium big coffee-colored head. smells of ash, bitter herbs, coffee grounds, light dried fruits, nutty, lightly earthy. nice smell. full body, rather bubbly carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of coffee, nuts, almonds, marzipan, light bitter herbal, alcohol a bit hot, peppery, spices. finishes with some roast and warming alcohol with notes of spices, nuts, warming alcohol and some coffee. good one, drank this one rather warm which I guess made the alcohol quite present. but overall good one..

A colablack beer, a head is small and blond. Aroma has berries and red currants, only hint of roastiness, herbs, hint of liquirice. Taste has mild roastiness, some liquirice and herbs. Surprisingly light, even the alcohol % are high, more strenght body would be better. Decent.
