Den weißen Hasen 🐰 bekam ich für lau, da es die letzten Reste im Fass waren. Das freute mich sehr, da das Bier wirklich gut war, auch wenn man eher als klassisches Weizenbier als als Witbier sehen konnte. Im Körper eher flach, aber sehr süffig.

Trübe gelb orange Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Getreidiger, fruchtiger Geruch. Geschmacklich getreidig, fruchtig mit Banane und Gewürznelke, leicht malzig. Hohe Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

500 ml bottled 21.05.2015, from Beer Store Vienna.
Golden-orange, hazy body, with a quite small, unstable, frothy, white head.
Aroma of grains, orange, banana, spices.
Tastes of grains, banana, orange, bread, spices, vanilla.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes spicy, grainy, fruity, a bit bready, a bit hoppy.
OK. Average Weizen, not bad, but a bit boring, with the typical Hefeweizen aromas, but not as full as others. I’ve had much better beers of this style.

500ml bottle at home shared by Saeglopur, many thanks. Bottled 21.05.2015. BB 21.08.2015. light yellow quite hazy color. very small white head. smell of spices, pears, peach, yeast. medium body, very soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes rather sweet, spices, light yeast, peach, light tobacco. finishes with some spices and peach notes. overall decent Weizen, a bit sweet though, and not too special.
