Bottle, many thanks derA! Unclear deep orange color with soapy white head. Aroma is raisins, maltose, some herbs, schnaps. Taste is raisins, maltose, nice grapeyness, super awesome barrel character. Oily mouthfeel with ticklish carbonation. Superb ASBC!

Bottle with mR_fr0g at his place on 12 October. Poured a hazy amber with absolutely no head. Interesting aroma of orange rind, merlot and candy sugar. Full mouth feel, very smooth. Flavours of apples, tart fruits some candy sugar. Flavours turn to vinegar and a very balanced tart / sweet fruit finish. I think this may be new favourite sour beer. Perfectly balanced, no unpleasant astringency, but lots of powerful sour flavours.

Bottle at home thanks to Beese. Aroma is rodenbach vinegar, acetic. Tart cherry. Onion skin colour no head. Peppery tickle in the finish. Flavour is tart cherry, light acid and vinegar. Some wine quality. Full body . hides the high alcohol pretty well.

Bottle. Pours a hazy deep earthy amber with an off-white heads that begins and remains at the edges. Aroma is full of barrel with some sweet grains and a good amount of sour fruits. Flavor has a decent amount of funk with sour fruits and a nice amount of backing barrel.

350 C&C from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours very hazy dark amber with a foamy 4 finger beige head. Aroma is sour oak with something beyond vinous. It’s a firm sour flavor with a lot of red wine and a lot of oak. And a lot of other stuff. Complex as all to heck. Beyond brilliant.

Explosive and gushing bottle. Cloudy amber color; no head retention. Woody, alcoholic aroma; fresh/green hazelnuts, very light wine; dusty too. The flavor is not at all impressive, very alcoholic, a bit astringent and sour, woody of course. Not the best one...

Bottle. Pours muddy brown. Nose of smoked wood, tart fruit and alcohol. Taste of old barrel, alcohol and tart fruit. Exploded upon opening, likely due to the C02 as it doesn’t taste infected.

Bottle: Poured a hazy amber color ale with a small foamy head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma consists of light oak notes with some tartness and some light alcohol. Taste is also a mix between some tart and oak notes with some fruit and alcohol notes also noticeable. Body is about average for style with medium carbonation and some alcohol was perceptible though nothing too perturbing. Different and quite complex makes this one hard to describe. I enjoyed it but not sure I would seek this on a regular basis.

Bottle from Once Upon a Vine North on 06/06/2010. Magnum, exploded when opening it, but we salvaged most of it. Hazy orange body with a large rocky off-white head. Sweet fruit, grape, funk, raisin and wood aroma. Sweet malt flavor, some funk and light vineagar notes, with some wood and light sour. Medium full body with high carbonation.
