Baeren Beer The Day Italian Pilsner 5% Nice soft grainy aroma with herbal hoppiness. Quite full bodied with a slightly scratchy carbonation. The taste has herbal hops with a lemony twang and bready soft grain notes but while my first sip had me saying this is the tops in the Day series after a few I felt the bitterness was a bitch much and that had me feeling less sure. I still wish Don Quixote had this one...

Fruity and flowery, lots of hops and a bit of bitterness. Not so much sign of the lager character but it’s there in the background. Wish session ipas tasted like this.

Can from the brewery, mail order. Bright gold, crystal clear, with a tall, fine head. Big, floral hop nose, herbal, fruity, mostly noble for sure but quite big. Malt underneath is biscuity with a touch of caramel. Very fruity hop flavor, floral too. Medium sweetness, slightly biscuity and grainy, with a bitter finish. My first one, I thought was too fruity and sweet for the style, but this one is properly chilled and I am enjoying it. Doesn't completely nail the style, but almost does. nice dry, bitter finish makes it feel crisp as hell.
