--Bottled, from Systembolaget. -- Hazy golden, small head. Citric, bretty nose with evident grapes. Tart with above medium body and rounded, spritzy mouthfeel. Gewürztraminer gets very evident. Citric and concentrated. Dominated by Gewürztraminer. Interesting!

Flaska från SB, 20 - 21. Ljusguldig, lätt disig, vit krona. Bra med svavel precis i början. Försvinner något efter en stund. Inledningsvis något stram. Mycket druvstjälk och kärnbeska. Öppnar upp sig något efter en stund i glaset och får fram mer utav druvsmak och lite vitvinstoner som för tankarna mer åt deras Riesling.

Bottled 750ml. -at Ambasada Zagreb. Unclear golden coloured, medium sized white head, yeast and grapes in the nose. Yeasty, lemony, white grapes, light leather and moderate carbonation with sour finish. Refreshing.

Bottle at Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Pours a cloudy orange yellow with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is strong funk, grape skin, oak, floral, citrus. Slick body, juicy, light funk, grape juice, oak, nice tartness, enjoyed this.

New grape lambic by Tilquin, this time using the famed Gewürztraminer, a variety known for its full, fruity and exotic character. Strong gusher initially, but the bottle had seen too many sharp contrasts in temperature by the time it was opened, so I will ignore this. Egg-white, moussy, open and eventually dissolving head, cloudy orange juice-like peach-yellow blonde robe. Interesting, very fruity bouquet: full on Gewürztraminer including that typical lychee aspect often associated with it, strawberry even, sweet dessert wine, ripe yellow kiwi and even a Waltzing Matilda cocktail somewhere, lime juice, sweat, dried garden weeds, damp hay when warming up. Intense Gewürztraminer in the mouth, again with all its lychee, strawberry, yellow kiwi and even very vaguely passionfruit associations, apart from sweet white grape as such, edged by a refreshing lime-like sourness, turning a tad lemony further on but never becoming harshly acidic; refined carb, supple bready malt core totally soaked in luscious, almost tropical 'grapeyness', very juicy and maintaining its sweet core character amidst drying lactic and malic acidity - a combination I would associate with some passionfruit cocktail or something alike, utterly refreshing and juicy. More funky, hayish Brettanomyces and old-woody tannins appear in the end, moving the lambic itself more to the foreground, especially when an earthy, deeply buried old hop bitter accent pops up - only to disappear again in favour of that recurring sweet-and-sour, almost 'tropical' (lychee!) Gewürztraminer juiciness. Very distinct compared with the other Tilquin grape lambics, very juicy and colourful - what a brilliant idea to work with this kind of grape... Different from what I expected, but all the more surprising. A true gem.

750ml bottle. Tart, funky and farmyardy with some vinous grapes, yeast and sourness. Okay.

Bottle. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is juicy grapes, very nice funk, wood, leather. Taste is peppery grapes, leather, funk, a bit bitterness in the back. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Good!
