4 July 2021. At Dok Brewing Festival. Shared with the lovely Anke! Hazy orange, stable, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of ripe mango, orange, melon, grapefruit, mandarin peel. Taste has sweet to bittersweet mango, orange peel & grapefruit juicy with a biscuity malty undertone, slightly zesty. Piney hoppy finish, resinous almost, grapefruity yet spicy & yeasty too. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Just a solid, classic IPA, cool.

4/VII/21 - sample on tap @ DOK bierfestival (Ghent), BB: n/a (2021-582) Thanks to the GBV-crew for sharing today’s beers!
Clear orange beer, small creamy beige to yellowish head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: fruity, oranges, bit malty, grains, lots of (over)ripe melons, not super. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very bitter start, fruity, grapefruit, citrus touch, very resinous, dry and hoppy, some melons. Aftertaste: bit grassy, hint of diacetyl, citrus touch, bitter orange peel, very dry and bitter finish, resinous. With all those top-notch hops in the recipe, the result is a bit of a let-down.

Draught Thick, very dense & fine yellow-ish head over ochre-amber, slightly veiled beer; rings of lace. Intense orange/orangepeel nose zith quite some resins. Fresh and inviting. Resiny, bitter orange/kumquat. A slight aromatic flavour as from benzenering, as in real sake. Sucade. Clear hopoil slickness, rather low carbonation, light to medium bodied. Outright bitterness, resiny, as a W-C IPA ought to be. For a first turnout, cudo's!!
