Can from Mitra Assendorp, Zwolle. Aroma is dark malt with bourbon, oak. Alcohol, caramel, some toffee. Soft touch of dried druits, hint of chocolate. Fairly sweet, light bitter, bit boozy. Body is above medium. Rich and sweet, lots of caramel malt, bourbon.

Medium amber-brown, full body and nice sugars, light figgy notes, mostly lots of sugars but with alcohol in the finish.

330mL can sampled at Weathered 2023, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of bourbon barrels and brown sugar. Flavour is sticky and boozy, with lots of toffee, dark fruits, bready malt, and booze. A little messy, but has nice fruity and malty notes. Good stuff.

Poured from 330mL can @ Weathered 2023. Dark brown with small beige head. Caramel, touch of toffee, very soft scotch, decent but slightly underwhelming.

330 ml can. Pours a dark brown with moderate tan head. Aromas of caramel, soft whiskey barrel, raisins, and doughy malts. Flavors follow same; barrel aging is subtle and malts are dominant. Lots of carbonation. Dry finish. Quite nice. Ready to drink.

Can, 12%. Very dark brown with small tan head. Aroma is malt, caramel, toasted, dark fruit, barrel, whiskey and a little toasted. Flavour is malt, caramel, sweet, dark fruit, warming, barrel, whiskey, notes of alcohol and medium bitter.

Donkerbruin tot zwart bier met schuim. Smaak is bitterzoet, warm en krachtig met iets van rum, chocolade, wat koffie, vanille en rozijnen. Erg fijn bier.

Ruikt naar melkchocolade, caramel, nootjes. Smaak is chocolade, super roosterig, heerlijke versgebakken broodkorst, vleugje boozy. Vooral die broodkorst is geniaal.
