Danish wild ale with apricots.
Beautiful Bergeron apricots from France were macerated on a blend of Danish Wild Ales ranging from 1 to 3 years old, with a majority of the blend being 1.5 years old.

The unique bouquet contributed by these wonderful apricots pairs perfectly with the earthy, deep complexity brought by the Danish Wild Ale.

0,75l bottle at home. Vintage 2020. yellow cloudy color, small white head. smells funky, fruity, rubbery, lactic. Nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes apricots, lactic, rubbery, leathery. finishes rather dry, rather bitter and medium sour with notes of apricots, lactic and peppery notes. Overall nice, but quite on the sour side, also surprisingly bitter, which I like though. Rather good overall

2021 version, tap at 100 piv. Rather thin body, rather low carbonation. Med-high farmhouse character, med-high sourness, light acetic. Lightly grassy earthy notes - coming off the apricot I guess. The apricot itself is moderate intensity, yet kinda hard to pick out due to it being fully fermented-out. Overall good but not great

From Good Times Oakland, 2020 best by November 2025. Corked and caged

It pours a hazy orange with a small head of foam, some lacing.

The smell is sour apricots, Brettanomyces, acetic, dry, really really strong aromas.

The taste is as intense as the smell. Sour apricots, acetic, yeasty, Brett, very dry on the palate. A very slow drinker...

Medium bodied with lively carbonation.

Intense!!
