BBE 05/18/2021 (canned 01/09/2020? Release stamp 6587). Pours a back colour and a light brown head that quickly recedes. Aroma's are in your face ground coffee, light umami, syrup. Retronasal it's sweetish, heavy roast, coffee, light coffee sourish. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter, with lots of coffee. Above medium bodied. Long finish, lots of roast, fairly bitter. Nice one.

Can from Beer Republic, Breda, Netherlands consumed sat outside at home Attenkirchen Easter Sunday 12th April 2020, weather is glorious again!, however we are now into day 25 of CORVID-19 enforced lockdown, just eaten Beef Flank Steaks, griddled with a Tomato and Chilli Salad on griddled Flat Bread, with a further salad of Fig's, Goat Cheese and Honey Salad. Pours black with a beige head. On the nose it's a seductive combination of rich roasted coffee beans, chocolate and vanilla. These three are also present in the mouth, smooth, indulgent stout, lot's of coffee again. Really nice coffee stout.

(Can, Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 5 Oct 2019) Black colour with foamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with coffee, chocolate and roasted malt. Malty, roasted taste with notes of dark chocolate, coffee, black rye bread and a balanced coffee bitterness in a sweetish finish. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well made with a rich coffee character. Very nice.

Coffee stout for sure. Lots of coffee, nicely moccha but also giving some roast and a hint of acidity. No pepper. Base is thick and heavy enough to support the coffee, nicely roasty, very smooth. Relatively bitter, more traditional than many modern ones.
