This series of four herbal beers is dedicated to the seasons. Each beer stands for a particular season, so you can drink your way through the year. In spring we foraged dandelions, which lend the beer its flowery aroma and pithy bitterness. This blend matured on average 10 month in red wine barrels.

Big bottle shared with the Moer crew. Slightly citric, herbal, grassy, floral, vineous and fruity. Moderately acidic, pretty funky. Not too complex yet fairly enjoyable.

Bottle at Salon piva. Mwdium body, med-low carbonation. Light sourness, light tartness, med-light sweetness. Moderately herbal, slightly flowery. Med-light woody and winey fruity flavour, light funk too. Overall a rather subtle mix, not very intense, little flavours coming together to make a pleasant drinkable mix. Good one.

Bottle shared at tasting. Clear golden color initially, but the last part had weird odd floating objects in them. Sour, not much more to tell. Okay-ish. 5-6-6-7-7

Well, wouldn't call a hopped beer a gruit myself, but oookaaay. Slightly hazy golden body, almost no head. Yeasty, tart, citric aroma, some maltiness, okay, simple. Light salty, tart, minerally, citric - lemony taste, it has a lambic-like vibe slightly, but simpler. Nice enough.

375ml bottle. Cloudy, orange golden colour with slightly late awakening, very small, creamy, white head. Funky, tangy, vinous fruity and floral fruity, slightly earthy, herbal aroma, notes of stored red and yellow apple, grapes, herbs. Taste is tart, vinous fruity, herbal, floral, subtle residual sweetness, notes of stored red and yellow apple, grapes, herbs. Minimally oily-creamy, watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally astringent palate, fine, soft to flat carbonation. Very nice composition, sadly a bit insipid - good.

Fein würziger, mild süß-säuerlicher Beginn. Spritzig, feine Säure, etwas kräutrig. Langer weicher Abgang. 7/10/11/11/10/11

Love this dandelion gruit. Tastes like pure spring. Almost completely still, which was disappointing at first, but I really came around to it. Can't figure out the name... perhaps it's a portmanteau.
