bottle from pivnizub. Straw-coloured yellow, tall white head, herbal-resiny nose. Light- to medium-bodied, good malty background, delicious resiny-grassy hops. Very nice.

Bottle. Pale green golden, white foam. Farty old hay and ensilage, veggie aroma. medium body, chewy, mellow mouthfeel, light sparkles. Hay, play-doh, bread dough, light sweetness, leaves, grassy hops, sulphur, yesteryears noble hops tastefully presented.

Bottle, many thanks jonas & pivnizub! Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is grainy, some ideas of juicy malts, a touch earthy hops. Taste is juicy malts, mild grains, a touch honey, lightly earthy hops, moreish soft malt body (jonas says "Knetmasse"). Soft oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. The aroma is not completely convincing (maybe most of the hops have faded), but the flavour is delightful. Unspectacular but just simple and tasty. I'm curious how this tastes at the source.

Schnapp-Fläschla: Pale greenish-golden, hazy, rather quickly collapsing loose white head; moderate herbal and "chalky"-grainy nose; moderate dryish bitter flavour with a very weak residual sweetness, pretty light bodied and a bit fizzy; mild "chalky" and bitter finish. Quite a weak franconian Bier...

"Roppelt Gold Pils", Flasche (50 cl) von Hopfen & Malz, Berlin-Wedding. - Goldgelb, klar. Unbedingt empfehlenswert!

Enjoyed at the brewery. Clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma had plenty of fresh noble hops. Flavor had pale malt, grassy hops with floral hints. Clean and dry. Bitter finish. Another wonderful example from this region.

(draught at the brewpub) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond and dense medium-sized foamy head. Mildly sweet pale malty aroma with distinctively citrus-fruity and slightly herbal hops. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Pale malt-character with a tinge of draff and citric hops; dry-ish and moderately bitter and fruity hoppy finish. Easy-going and moreish Pilsener. 17.IV.11

Sehr sehr milder Antrunk mit wenig Herbe und süffig hefiger komponente. Süffig, aromenmäßig langweilig. Ein Pils? Wohl eher ein mildes Lager... 8/7/8/7//7
