Brewlander’s Love is brewed with bucket loads of New World hops and fermented with a wild .... . We went for a simple malt bill instead of the crystal heavy grist so that the hops and yeast driven flavours can shine.

Love explodes with a beautiful tropical medley of pineapple, mango and passionfruit aromas finishing with a long, clean hoppy bitterness. The mouthfeel is silky and teases with a hint of tartness. Our decision to use Extra Pale.......malt ensures that the bare grist still packs a solid punch. This brew’s enticing fruity aroma will make you fall in love!

The hoppiness of this IPA pairs well with stews and all kinds of meat.

For more flavour, swirl the bottle and get all the yeast into your glass!

A small bottle from Cold Storage supermarket, Raffles City Shopping Centre, near City Hall MRT, purchased while on holiday in Singapore, drunk at home in Taipei. Aroma: yeasty, 70s era homebrew. Appearance: opaque light amber, head is gargantuan, off-white bubbles, '...it's frothy man...' Palate: medium-bodied and sticky on the tongue, average carbonation; finish is rich, well-hopped, wild yeast but nothing sour about this beer. Taste: lightly sweet, biscuit, yeast, some understated citrus. Inoffensive, a welcome change from the usual 'canned pineapple' IPAs.

330ml can: BB 13th April 2024. Shared with minutemat at my place on 6th November 2023, during a mega tasting session. This was brought back to Shropshire from Singapore purely for me to enjoy, cheers Shirley. Third beer from these guys during the tasting, this like the other two was very highly carbonated and flew out the bottle, giving us a huge white head on the misty golden body. I though this was OK, decent semi-sweetness within the tropical citrusy fruit flavour, the best of the three by some way.

330mL bottle at SG Taps, pours a cloudy bright amber orange with a small white head. Aroma is very pungent, with intensely dank hops, perfumey floral notes, and alcohol. Flavour is a little less abrasive, with very dank hops, red fruits, and some wild yeast in there. Very dank, somewhat abrasive finish. Fun stuff.

330ml bottle thanks to Jon for bringing this back. Pours murky orange, confidently large dense foam atop. Aroma has pleasant cotric fruit, grapefruit. Bright bretty fruit zapping the palate from the start, fresh, hoppy with a lasting zing on the finish. Body is perhaps a bit smooth and full but generally an enjoyable hoppy beer.
