Life is But a Dream is a blend of five beers in collaboration with Buffalo Barrel Project:
40% Awesome Jenkins Imperial Stout, aged in Willett rye barrels
20% Awesome Jenkins Imperial Stout, aged in maple syrup barrels
20% Awesome Jenkins Imperial Stout, aged in apple brandy barrels
10% Spelunkenheimer Adambier, aged in Willett bourbon barrels
10% Bones In Traction Barleywine
It all comes together in a rich, complex barrel-forward treat. Notes of chocolate, honey and toffee float on top of each barrel’s contribution. Delicate spiciness from the rye, sweetness from the maple, fruit from the apple brandy & vanilla from the bourbon all tied together by fresh malt and a touch of marmalade from Barleywine.

Sweet toasted malty with dried fruit shred. Caramel toffee maple, full body, lingering sweet malty close. Very nice.

Appearance - 7 | Aroma - 7.5 | Flavor - 8.5 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8.5
Near black, oily, low carbonation. Smells malty, hint of raisin. Thick, pretty boozy, something licorice, pretty umami. After opening up some more sweetness arrives. Very tasty, smooth, rich. Mainly umami, some barrel sweetness. Smooth yet intense.
