Slightly opaque, very pale yellow. Smells sweet, some honey, soft, very light hint of oak. Body is light, a bit thin but pretty boozy. Taste is very nice, subtle clean mead with a nice amount of oaky tannins. Original review text: Traditional meads are tricky, cause there's no way to hide things. This is pretty sweet, with some residual honey remaining that didn't get fermented. Little bit thin, but very soft. Floral. Nice, but maybe wrong place/time.
