330ml bottle. Jet black colour with very small, frothy, fading, tan head. Chocolately dark malty and fruity aroma, notes of raspberry with fruit acidic and minimally earthy aspects, couverture, dark chocolate, raspberry-flavoured dark chocolate, mild roasty aspects, weak, doughy yeasty overtones. Taste is sweet-ish, fruity and chocolately, dark malty, notes of raspberry, dark chocolate, couverture, fruit acid keeps the sweetness at bay; minimally warming, alcoholic finish, well hidden alcohol overall. Oily to viscous texture, smooth, soft, silky, minimally cloying palate, fine, soft, efficacious carbonation. Focussed, simple, balanced, harmonious - very, very tasty.

Stark fruchtiger Malzbeginn, zu süß. Schokolade, viel Himbeere, der Alkohol ist lange Zeit nicht erkennbar. Mit der Zeit malziger, die Fruchtigkeit bleibt dabei intensiv. Langer, vollmundig malziger Abgang. 10/10/8/10/7/10

Bottle from Beerdome Webshop Grootegast, Netherlands. Consumed at home Sunday 2nd May 2021. We had homemade Lasagne alla Cacciatora for tea and it was great. Watching The Innocents on Netflix. Pours black with a beige head. Raspberries on the nose with a little chocolate. In the mouth more of the same, it's a little bit sweet despite the raspberry tang, a little bit of red wine, it is a pleasant enough moutheel, it's okay but I have had much better.

Tap. Dark brown, close to black color. Aroma: caramel, jam, raspberries, wine, a little chocolate. Taste: sweet, raspberries and caramel, chocolate and dessert fruit wine, very good.

Appearance: Opaque. Near to black. Smakk beige head of low retention. Aroma: Dark malts, a bit roasted, raspberry jam, vinous notes. Taste: Intense, medium sweet, dark malts, raspberry jam, chocolate, vinous, some ending tartness. Low bitterness. Mouth feel: Full body, Average carbonation. Summary: Pretty good.
