Toto je náš tradiční ležák, vařený s vysokým množstvím nesladovaného ječmene, aby se dosáhlo plnějšího těla. Mnoho týdnů ležel na jemném francouzském dubu, který přidal k bylinnému aroma chmele Saaz Special náznak toastové praženosti a jeho rafinovanou hořkost doplnil jemným dřevitým aroma. Lager can take many different forms. This one is on a traditional note, brewed with a high amount of unmalted barley to achieve a fuller mouthfeel. We lagered it for many weeks on fine French oak that added a hint of toastiness to the herbal aroma of Saaz Special hops and slight woody bite to its refined bitterness. True timeless classic to be enjoyed any day of any century, so how about today?

300ml draught pour at BeerGeek Bar. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aromas & tastes of grass, grain, herbs, citrus, oak & malt. Moderate body. Dry lasting moderate bitter finish. Enjoyable

Tap at UJH. Golden colour and small white head. Hayish pils aroma. Light-bodied. Hayish, grassy, pils malty flavour. Oak? No.

Ein klassisches tschechisches 🇨🇿 Lagerbier, dass einige Zeit ⌚ in einem Eichenfass 🛢️ gelagert wurde. Dadurch bekommt es einen schön vollen, süffigen Körper und hat schwere, nicht zu holzige, Aromen, und bleibt dabei doch angenehm trinkbar -auch trotz des trägen Körpers.

From tap at BeerGeek Bar after seeing La Bohéme at Prague State Opera 23.11.23. Hazy pale straw colour. White head and lacing. Fine aroma and taste of pilsner malt, grains, succade and meadowy hops.

Can 50cl. @home poured into a shaker. Slightly unclear pale golden colour, good frothy white head, half way lasting, fair lacing. Aroma sweet malt, grain, grassy hops, faint wood. Taste mild medium sweet and bitter, malty, grain, bread, woody notes at the end. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, mild but present sweetbitter aftertaste, solid lager, nice.

(Draught at BeerGeek Bar, Prague, 20 July 2023) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, slightly hoppy nose with bread, herbs, vanilla and oak wood. Malty taste with notes of bread, citrus, herbs, a touch of wood and a balanced citric/herbal bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced pilsener, with a gentle wood touch. Very nice.
