The Flemish “White” Beer, traditionally brewed at home by villagers from around the towns of Leuven and Hoegaarden, and reminiscent of Czech beers of the past.

Tap at GPV. Murky dark yellow body, white head. Very, very coriandery aroma, nice, lightly citric. The taste is similar and fairly on point, coriander and citric, perfumey notes on a lean but not dry body. Okay enough, not a wow, though it may well be for a Czech wit.

Not impressed. I will pretend that aroma was bar’s mistake, even though other beers were okay. There’s very, very slight citrus moment in a taste and that’s it. Had betters already.

Tap at Bad Flash bar. Coriander is present, but orange peel seems absent. Light clove invading. The yeasty phenolic character does not seem right. Also too thin bodied and kind of watery feeling. Easy drinking.
