# 4599; 4/2025. Cellary, malty, herbal aroma. Murky gold body with small floating particles; tiny off-white head. Cellary, malty, herbal, slightly perfumy; slightly harsh bitter finish. Lighter body; medium carbonation; worse drinkability. Worse than expected from Hostomice brewery, still good pilsner. 0,5 l, can, brewery pub, Hostomice (Bohemia, CZ).

--Canned, thanks Marko! -Clear golden, firm mid sized head. Rich aroma of hay and bergamott. Mid dry with solid body and well rounded mouthfeel. Bready malt, lots of hay and tea. Long bitter finish. Excellent Czech lager, on the heavy and hoppy side.

Draught @ Nalevarna, Prague. Pours clear Golden with a small settling egg White head. Grassy and grainy nose. Clean , bready malt flavor with a little touch of alcohol. Very Helles Bock like. Perhaps not up to par with their 10-12 but still a very solid offering. Dry and slight bitter grassy finish.

Poured from the tap. Slightly hazy gold with off white head. Pilsner malt with fairly herbal hop notes. Decent, though the herbal bitterness lingers a bit too long.

Tap at the original Nalévarna, of course, rating in the rain... damn. Hazy golden body, off white head. Creamy, buttery, malty aroma, light herbal notes. Lean, bitterish taste, herbal, nice, a bit flat but smooth. Somewhat limp, might be getting in age? Not sure, but while an okay lager, not en par with their other stuff this time, let alone the fantastic fresh hop 13% I'd had a year and a half ago. Thankfully, the 12° I'd had after it was in very good shape and form.
