Bottle at home shared with Laura and Thompson. Clear amber color, full sized off-white head. Aroma is malts, some spices. Flavor is malts, sweetish, again some spices, bourbon notes, solid bitter finish. Quite nice.

Bottle from Beerbox.be. Clear dark golden-amber, stable, foamy, off-white head. Aroma of ripe red apple, canned pineapple, peach, wet wood, clove, dried banana, bourbon, cheese rinds. Taste has sweet pineapple, red apple & banana in doughy, brioche-like malt body with yeasty & spicy clove effects. Floral hoppy finish, spicy, lingering ripe yellow fruits, wood and warming bourbon alcohol. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Pretty good even though the combination of Tripel & bourbon remains odd. Better than the Meestereske Tobermory too.
