Bottle. Amber with a lasting white head. Smoked aroma with campfire and bacon along with hints of fresh wood and fresh malt. Sweetish malty flavour with a touch of caramel, and lots of smoke.

Fläschla: Clear, deep golden to light amber coloured, small and stable off-white foamy layer; moderate dryish caramelly-malty nose with solid traces of charcoal and some "fishy" spots, some bitterness, caused by a kind of burned malt, underneath; moderate dryish bitter and mildly sweetish flavour, almost medium bodied, low carbonation; lingering dry smoky, malty and bitter finish. A well rounded smoked Bier...

Bottle @ Hopfen & Maltz, Berlin. Thanks Ludger. Pours amber copper with a White head. Excellent smokey nose - bamberg Smoke, campfire, bacon and mild sausage. A whiff of caramel and bready malts. Smooth with a fine Grassy bitter finish. A lot like Spezial lager, But just Way better Bottle conditioning.

(bottle) Clear, copper colour with a medium-sized and off-white foamy head. Present smoke malty aroma with hammy notes, as well as caramel and a whiff of iodine in the background. Mildly bitter and delicately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a pleasant carbonation. Smoke malty taste with slightly burnt flavours, caramel, smoked ham and a mildly Franconian hoppy bite in the background. Moreish and sessionable. 13.IX.18

Dahinter mild süßliches Karamelmalz, überlagert von Räucheraromen. Mild rezent, ein wenig wäßrig. Im Abgang zarte Zitronenschale in sehr milder Hopfenherbe. Derb rauchiger Nachtrunk.
