500ml bottle from Tom's Tap & Brewhouse. Pours a lively brown colour with a big foamy beige head. Aromas & tastes of grapefruit, flora, spices & biscuit malt. Medium body. Dry moderate bitter finish. Very well made old school IPA

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Copper colour (wasn’t expecting that). Moderate haze. Messy off white foam. Nose has gingery biscuit malt. Pineapple. Charred grapefruit. Stewed hop. Caramel. Taste has a caramel sweetness, with a hefty, herbal, chewy citrus bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel feels pretty rich. Fine and brisk carbonation. Lingering charred citrus bitterness to finish. Very decent old school IPA.

Bottle from Belly Rub Beer, Scarborough. Pours clear dark gold with a thick off-white head. Earthy nose, toffee, caramel, floral hops. Taste is hefty bitter, more caramel, perhaps a hint of Fuggles or similar U.K. hops. Solid beer, which I'd put in a more Old Ale category if it weren't fresh! Says IPA on the bottle, so there we go.
