To celebrate IWCBD in 2021 we have created a TIPA loaded with some of our favourite hop varieties. For the grist we put together a blend of extra pale, flaked oats and chit for plenty of body. We whirlpooled with Bru-1 then dry-hopped with Citra, Nelson Sauvin, Strata, Idaho-7 and Bru-1 hops to bring overripe tropical aromatics.

440ml can kindly shared by Finn. Unclear orange-coloured body, upper part lacing from a declining white head. Quite inviting smell of tropical fruit. The taste character has got impacts of mango, orange, and apricot. Hints of fruity bitterness to the ending, noticeable alcohol. Surprisingly easy to drink. Pretty good. (Tromsø 20.07.2021).

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Light palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Thin malts, a thin and modest creamy sweetness. Hops bring crisp pine and a crisp citric peel bitterness. Mild hop spice. As things open up and warm up, the Bru-1 and Idaho 7 goodness comes through with a decent showing of a pine dominated smorgasbord of tropical and citric fruits. Light finish, mildly dry. Promises much, but whilst delivering a decent beer, never lives up to the promise.
