Cask at Ealing Beer Festival 2018, Ealing, London. An orange/amber coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, malty aroma and taste. Really disappointing.

Cask at the Old Joint Stock, pre Cotts Convention IV warm up act, 23/06/18. Clear golden amber with a decent off white cap. Nose is rather thin and lacking ... hint of melon, peach, light watered down tropical fruit medley. Taste improves comprising airy malts, melon, light breads, nectarine, grassy notes. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a trace of hop bitterness. Inoffensive number but thin all round and a touch lacklustre.

Cask at Mawson Arm's. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The aroma is fresh, juicy, tropical fruits, brown bread, raisin and fruit cake. The taste is dry, bitter, pithy, zesty, tropical fruits, papaya, mango, touch of spice and earth with a firmly dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Works rather well. Rather drinkable stuff.

Cask atbthe Old Joint Stock - pours clear orange-gold with a small, creamy white head. Grainy malt aroma, hints of ripe citrus. Light sweet flavour, more grainy mats, bread, some dough and English yeast. Light bodied with delicate carbonation. Finishes with more English yeast, bread, mild leafy bitterness. Not bad.
