Black with quick fading dark head. Aroma is very intense with roasted dark malts and also a little smokiness too. Flavour is similar but slightly less intense. Decent body. Superb considering this is only 4.1%

bottle from Heinrichs 3000 Kornwestheim. Deep brown, almost black, with a tall beige-brwon head. Not too dry, pleasantly sweet and malty with lots of roasty flavours, some coffee, dark chocolate and a shy touch of caramel.

Fläschle(Díííík!): Almost as black as in, medium-sized and quite stable tanned and creamy head; moderate dry - but not too dry - roasty-toasty nose, completed by a mild fruity acidity; mild to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied and really soft; lingering bitter-sweet finish of toasted malt and a delicate bitter and lingering aftertaste. Better than expected...

Bottle. Black, creamy brown head. Sweet roast aroma, coffee, dark choc. Dry foamy, roasted, seaweed, burned toast. Medium light foamy body. Quick burned finish.

Bottle. Dark brown color with fizzy beige head. Aroma is bready, chocolate. Taste is ash, mineralic. Mineralic a bit chalky mouthfeel with fizzy-ish carbonation. Very dry, very ashy, but not bad.

Many thanks to Beerhunter111 for sharing. Smooth dry bitter with a great malty dry body. Roast and dry bitterness like a good Stout should be. Dry roasted in the aftertaste with more bitterness from roasted grain than from hops. Nice!

33cl bottle. A dark brown beer with a small good lasting tan head. Aroma of dry roasted dark malt, liquorice, coffee. Taste of dry roasted dark malt, coffee, mild smoked malt, liquorice, caramel, nice!

Trockener, malzig-röstiger Antrunk. Spritzig, süffig, die Röstnoten sind dafür aber nicht übermäßig stark ausgeprägt. Zunehmend trocken, leicht erhöhte Karbonisierung, süffig bleibend. Mittellanger Nachhall. Für 4% nett und durchaus gelungen. 9/8/10/9/7/8

Pours almost black color with a frothy beige head. The nose holds wet, ashy roast with some burnt toast. Light bodied with fine carbonation.
